Event and location information
The church event, 2pm, 29 Aug 2026
St Peter's Church, Flushing
We will be getting married in St Peter's Church, Flushing. The ceremony will be presided over by Revd Canon Andrew Stevenson. More information about the church itself can be found at the link below.
Parking. Flushing is a small village and parking can be difficult, especially in the busy summer period. We have arranged parking at Flushing boatyard for the duration of the wedding only using their dedicated staff car park. This can be found on Google Maps here or on what3words here. Our thanks to Jonathan Fielding of Falmouth Boat Co. Ltd for kindly agreeing its use. The walk between car park and church is about 250 metres.
Other parking is available on roads within the village but please be mindful of access for emergency or larger vehicles (buses and delivery lorries included). Please park considerately! Note: The minimum recommended distance for emergency vehicle access is 10ft (3m).

The wedding breakfast, approx. 345pm, 29 Aug 2026
The Falmouth Hotel, Castle Beach, Falmouth
On completion of the wedding there will be an intimate event for close family and friends which will be held in the Pendennis Ballroom at the hotel using a traditional seating arrangement (top table etc.). We would like this to be a quiet, relaxed event where we can talk to all our guests in a peaceful setting. We intend to take some photographs on arrival at the hotel prior to settling into the ballroom. We also intend to cut a cake and complete speeches but there will be no party and no first dance. There will be background music and a bar. Food will be a finger buffet/afternoon tea style meal served at approx. 1630. With a further small buffet served later (fish and chip cones). For any guests wishing to stay, information about accommodation is at the link. Guests will be entitled to 10% discount.
Parking. As with Flushing, parking can be difficult in Falmouth during the busy summer period. There is very limited parking at the hotel and this will almost certainly be taken by residents of the hotel. Parking is possible along Cliff Road (the road that runs along the seafront) and areas surrounding the hotel where there is space or a lack of double yellow lines. The nearest long stay public car parks are at Falmouth Docks Railway Station (250m), The Dell (750m) or Gyllyngvase Beach (1100m). Most other car parks in the area are <4 hours (some <3 hours) at a time.

The party, 5pm till 11pm, 30 Aug 2026
Tregew Food Barn, Long Close Farm, Flushing
This will be an event at a working food barn which we will convert into pretty setting for a party. The open air barn is normally an outlet for locally grown produce at markets throughout the year and is also home to a Cornish shellfish production company. More information can be found at the link below.
The bride and groom will be in wedding attire. There will be a DJ, there will be a bar, there will be food, some people will give a speech and there will be a first dance.
Food comes courtesy of The Aussie Smoker and consists of their brisket, rolls and 'slaw. We intend to provide some savoury and sweet snacks (and some sweets for the kids), and some soft drinks.
The bar will be a self-pay bar which will serve cocktails, lagers, ciders, wines and soft drinks. They will also have some non alcoholic options available.
We have to be complete and music off by 11pm as this is a requirement of the hire agreement.
Since this is a barn conversion event, toilets will be in the form of a 2+1 event trailer. There is also an eco-loo (medieval style bench and hole in the floor type toilet) on site.
Parking. This venue has on site parking in the form of a gravelled car park that should be more than enough to accommodate all our guests. Disabled parking will be near the entrance to the barn.
